Hamburg / Oslo, 29 June 2026 - DTCP today announced it has led a €12 million seed round in Six Robotics, a Norwegian defence technology company developing autonomous coordination software for unmanned systems. DTCP has invested €10 million through its DTCP Defence Fund strategy, alongside participation from EIFO (Export and Investment Fund of Denmark) and Scale Capital, alongside other private investors
Founded in 2023 and based in Oslo, Six Robotics develops Valkyrie, autonomy software designed to enable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from different manufacturers to operate together as coordinated drone swarms. The software is designed to operate across different drone types and streamline coordination and mission execution, while maintaining operator control over mission-critical decisions.
Six Robotics’ technology originates from nearly a decade of development within FFI, the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, before being commercialized through the company’s spin-out in 2023. The company has already achieved operational validation through deployments with the Norwegian Armed Forces and programs linked to broader NATO-aligned defence ecosystems.
In October 2025, the Norwegian Army selected Valkyrie for a pilot programme focused on concept and technology development across multiple Army units. Initial systems from Six Robotics and FFI have since been delivered to the Army for operational testing.
For DTCP, the investment addresses a growing integration challenge within defence technology. As unmanned systems become more widely adopted, armed forces increasingly require software capable of coordinating mixed fleets, integrating with existing systems and operating effectively in communications-constrained or contested environments. DTCP believes platform-agnostic orchestration software will become an increasingly important layer within modern defence infrastructure.

The investment reflects DTCP Defence Fund’s strategy of supporting sovereign European defence and resilience capabilities through investments in software, autonomy, AI and critical infrastructure technologies.
